I've seen this recipe around in various forms and have just now gotten around to trying it. It was super quick to throw together, even easier to change around and make it my own, and smells super yummy cooking in the oven! I'll definitely let you know how it turns out, but I'm betting this will be a kid (and Mom) favorite from now on.
Cheeseburger Bake
4 boxes mac and cheese- yep, with the powder cheese
1-1/2 lbs ground round
1 small can tomato soup
Seasonings:
salt
pepper
Lawry's
onion powder
garlic salt
Brown meat in sauce pan, adding seasonings to taste. While your hamburg is getting happy, make mac and cheese according to box directions. Drain grease from meat, add to mac and cheese. Add tomato soup, salt, pepper and onion powder. Mix well, toss it all in a large casserole dish. Bake for 30-40 mins in a 350 degree oven. Voila! There's your supper, without a lot of hassle.. and what kid doesn't love cheeseburgers?
