What's in a Name?

This, Internet, is one of my favorite songs. And it has been so for about fourteen years. I'd heard it before this, of course. It was simply a sad song that may or may not been about the ultimate ending for all of us. I have to say, even though Daniel is not the name of my friend, this is a post in remembrance of a dearly beloved and missed friend-for some reason,( these lyrics have always reminded me of him, despite the number of songs that carry his first name). It has been a long time, my friend, but I will always remember the way your eyes flashed, the dreams you had, and the way you carried a screaming "little sister" as you pretended to climb trees in her front yard. For some reason, even fourteen years later, this seems fitting.
