Since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I am encouraging all of you to go to the Purina Cat Chow website and learn five facts about breast cancer. For each person who does so, one dollar will be donated to the Susan G. Komen For the Cure foundation. This is one dollar in addition to the $175,000 already donated by Purina. The goal they're trying to reach is $225, ooo.
It takes less than five minutes, and not only can you donate in your name, a survivor's name, or anyone else of your choosing, you can learn five facts that can be pretty useful in the fight for early detection and prevention.
